Dr.Manjul Tripathi

Currently, I am working as an additional professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India.

My main focus is on functional neurosurgery, Gamma knife radiosurgery, neuro-oncology, and neurotrauma.

At present, I am closely working on functional radiosurgery stereotactic radiofrequency lesioning, DBS, and peripheral nerve surgeries.

Core expertise spanning Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Diagnostic Radiology, Tuberculosis imaging, Brain & Traumatic Brain Injury assessment, Medical Education, Training, and Quantitative Analysis.

  • Facilitating awareness and uptake of ISRS educational programs, guidelines, webinars, and teaching initiatives
  • Acting as a liaison between ISRS and national/regional professional bodies, including neurosurgery and radiation oncology societies
  • Supporting dissemination of best practices in stereotactic radiosurgery with emphasis on evidence-based and patient-centric care
  • Encouraging multidisciplinary engagement between neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, physicists, and trainees
  • Promoting capacity building and training in evolving radiosurgery infrastructure regions
  • Contributing to the global ISRS mission of advancing education, research, and standards in stereotactic radiosurgery
